Sr. RF Calibration Engineer

JOB DUTIES:

• Performing field measurement, data analysis and verification
• Performing Unix-based CAD tool data analysis
• Assessing propagation model accuracy
• Generating reports using specific plotting and standard software tools
• Technical support for customer and Newfield RF engineers
• Providing technical and analytical support for calibration and analysis reports
• Training Newfield and client engineers in propagation model calibration techniques

REQUIREMENTS:

• PhD (or academic equivalent) in Physics, Astronomy, Electronics Engineering or closely related field.
• Graduate-level coursework in radio wave or microwave propagation theory
• Practical experience with scientific radio frequency test equipment, quantitive data analysis and scientific plotting tools.
