Since 1995, Newfield Wireless has supported more than 75 North American markets in network optimization, network path loss calibration, path loss modeling and the development of engineering design processes to improve operators’ representation and implementation of their physical networks in engineering tools.

In 2000, Newfield Wireless began implementing this design expertise into a suite of software tools. The tools are being tested and used to augment the consulting services of the company, and began to be used by network operators in 2003.

By carefully migrating the company from consulting services to product development, Newfield maintains a close connection with the needs of its target clients, while developing a broadening family of wireless engineering tools. Newfield is a recognized leader in 3G spread spectrum (CDMA, UMTS/W-CDMA) network performance improvement.
